Expenses that write themselves into your Google Sheet
MyPurrse reads bank and e-wallet alerts in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Brunei, and files them as notes in your Google Sheet.
Ember files it
A payment alert on your phone becomes a row in your sheet.
Example: a payment alert that says you paid RM 12.50 to Kedai Kopi appears on the phone, and MyPurrse files it as a row in your Google Sheet with the merchant, a category and the amount.
Pay as usual. We file the rest.
-
Pick your apps
The bank and e-wallet apps it may read, plus Messages if your bank sends SMS. It never connects to your bank and can't move money.
-
Your cat reads the alert
Only the alert text goes to our API. AI labels it income, expense, transfer or noise; the text isn't kept unless you opt in.
-
It lands in your Drive
A row in your monthly Sheet, MyPurrse YYYY-MM, on every plan. Payments in another currency, or with an unclear amount, wait in To review.
It catches the tricky ones
Real money is messy. These are the alerts other trackers get wrong.
-
SPayLater & loans
Each instalment ticks itself off when its payment alert comes in.
-
Credit cards
Paying the card bill is a transfer, so nothing is counted twice.
-
Bank SMS
Pick your Messages app; only texts that mention money are read.
-
Itemised receipts
A scan lists every line, not just the total.
-
Rides on hold
Saved once Grab says the ride happened, dropped if it was cancelled.
-
Foreign spending
Waits in To review until you confirm the amount in your currency.
-
Your own transfers
Money between your own accounts is spotted, never counted as spending.
-
Promos & OTPs
Ignored, and promos many people get are skipped for free.
See it in the app
Real screens from the Android app, filled with sample data.

Four cats, four looks
Pick a companion and this page follows their colours, just like the app. Ember is free. The others unlock with a plan.

Free reads alerts from one app. Pro and Max read more apps, with more auto-reads, longer insights and more cats.
Questions people ask first
Is MyPurrse available on Google Play yet?
Not publicly yet. MyPurrse is in beta on Android and the Google Play listing opens to everyone in Q4 2026. To join the beta now, email us with the Google account you use on your Android phone. The roadmap tracks where things stand.
Which countries, banks and e-wallets does it support?
MyPurrse launches in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Brunei. It reads the payment alerts your bank and e-wallet apps show, such as Maybank, CIMB and Touch 'n Go eWallet in Malaysia, DBS, OCBC and PayLah! in Singapore, GCash, Maya and BDO in the Philippines, and BIBD and Baiduri in Brunei. Because it reads notification text, any app that posts a payment alert with an amount can be tracked. See the banks page for more.
Does MyPurrse connect to my bank or need my banking password?
No. MyPurrse never connects to your bank or e-wallet, never asks for your online banking login, and cannot move money. It only reads the payment alerts that the apps you choose already show on your phone.
Where is my expense data stored?
On every plan, each transaction row is saved to a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive, in a folder called MyPurrse. Our server never stores your transactions. You own those files and they stay if you delete the app.
What does MyPurrse cost?
Free reads alerts from one app. Pro reads alerts from three apps and Max from ten, with more auto-reads, receipt scans, longer insights and more cats. The app shows how much of your allowance is left as a percentage. Pay monthly or yearly (12 months for the price of 11) in the app through Google Play, or on this website. See plans and prices.
Which currency does it use?
Your main currency is set from your phone's country (ringgit, Singapore dollar, peso or Brunei dollar) and can be changed in the app. Alerts that are clearly in your main currency are filed automatically. Anything in another currency, or with an unclear amount, waits in To review so you can decide.
Does it handle credit cards, SPayLater, Atome and loans?
Yes. Add each card's last 4 digits and an alert that names them goes to that card's account; one bank app can hold a personal and a business card. Mark a card as credit and paying its bill is a transfer, so purchases are never counted twice. Buy now, pay later plans such as SPayLater, Atome and Grab PayLater, and loans such as a car loan or PTPTN, go in Budget › Debts & loans: each month is ticked off when its payment alert comes in, and only the instalment counts as spending. Debts stay on your phone, never on our server.
Is MyPurrse coming to iPhone?
It is on the roadmap with no date. iOS does not let an app read other apps' notifications, so the automatic capture that makes MyPurrse useful on Android has no direct equivalent.
Your ledger stays in your Drive

Never touches your bank
No banking login, and it can't move money. It only reads the alerts on your phone.
-
Your Sheet, your Drive
On every plan, transactions live in a Google Sheet you own, never on our server.

Alert text isn't kept
AI reads it to file it, then it's gone, unless you opt in to help improve it.
