Which Malaysian banks and e-wallets work

The short answer: any app that posts a payment alert to your notification shade. MyPurrse reads the notification text, so it needs no bank integration and no open-banking licence. The apps below are the ones it recognises on sight when you choose what to track.

  • CIMB and OCTO
  • Public Bank and PBe
  • RHB
  • Hong Leong
  • AmBank
  • Bank Islam

E-wallets

  • GrabPay
  • Boost
  • ShopeePay
  • BigPay
  • Setel
  • MCash
  • DuitNow transfers
  • Wise

Anything else

  • Pick any installed app in Settings
  • If it posts an alert with an amount, it can be filed
  • Promos and OTPs are ignored on purpose
  • Alerts that are not in MYR wait in To review

Your plan sets how many apps you track at once: 1 on Free, 3 on Starter, 10 on Pro.

How a notification becomes a row

1. It arrives

You pay as usual. Your bank or wallet posts its normal alert.

2. It gets read

Only the notification text leaves your phone. A model labels it income, expense, transfer or noise.

3. It lands

The row is written into the monthly sheet in your own Google Drive.

We never ask for your online banking password, and MyPurrse cannot move money. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is sent and what is kept.
